We are very pleased to announce that Matt Chamberlain has joined the Istanbul Agop Artist Roster. Matt is without question one of the finest drummers of this generation, and we are honored to have him onboard. Be sure to see him on tour with Indigo Girls in October.
July News! * Istanbul Agop / Alchemy Cymbals America is pleased to welcome Joey Waronker and Roy McCurdy to our artist roster.
Joey’s discography as a drummer includes work with some of the most significant artists of this generation, including Elliot Smith, Beck, REM and Smashing Pumpkins. Recently, Joey has recorded drums for Paul McCartney, Beck, Neil Finn, Air, Five For Fighting, Anna Nalick, and Marjorie Fair. Roy McCurdy is best known for his work with Cannonball Aderly and has also played with Count Basie, Wes Montgomery, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn, Carmen McRae, Joe Williams, Herbie Hancock, Milt Jackson, Oscar Peterson, and Bud Powell. Roy Currently plays with Nancy Wilson and is an Adjunct Professor Of Jazz Studies at USC’s Thornton School Of Music.
